"The Hero of Mossburg"

"The Hero of Mossburg" is a nearly 5 minute symphonic work, submitted for the Middle Tennessee Sinfonietta Competition in January of 2026. This piece follows the classic journey of a knight, given a quest to save a princess, slay a dragon, and bring glory to his home kingdom. Bold fanfares, lush string melodies, and unpredictable time signatures help to amplify a quest of incredible proportions.

"A Canvas: Pertaining to Fall"

"A Canvas: Pertaining to Fall" is a piece for SATB choir all about transitioning through the seasons, and the feelings that these changes can bring. The various sections serve to represent a different season each, all being tied together by a central motif of the natural cycle of the seasons.

"To Leave the Nest"

"To Leave the Nest" is a standalone piece for string orchestra written about a baby bird learning to fly. Soaring melodies depict the bird flying overhead, tumbling back to the ground during a tumultuous storm, and overcoming the odds with a rush of determination.
